My  Story

My niece and I have a habit of finding, and sharing, products we’ve found that make our lives easier.

A few months ago, I received a text message from her telling me that I absolutely had to try the Scrub Daddy.

Now, while I don’t live under a rock, neither do I watch much television.

As it happens, I had never even heard of a Scrub Daddy.

According to Cassie, if I purchased a Scrub Daddy I could kiss every other kitchen scrubber goodbye.

Since her past recommendations have been spot on, and the investment was minimal, I knew I needed to give the Scrub Daddy a try.

She was right (of course!).

I have replaced my collection of nylon scrubbers and half-used Brillo pads with one Scrub Daddy.

That’s saying something, considering I was raised thinking nylon scrubbers and Brillo pads were mandatory kitchen items.

While there are a few things that make the Scrub Daddy my scrubber of choice, the primary one is durability.

Any kitchen scrubber I have ever used has a very limited useful life.

To date, I have used the Scrub Daddy to scrub endless pots and pans, the stove top, the kitchen sink, and a pair of tennis shoes (not kidding; the things you do for a sister!).

The Scrub Daddy is still holding up.

While I have no illusions that it will last indefinitely, it has certainly outlived the useful life of any other scrubber I’ve ever used.

The Scrub Daddy is incredibly easy to clean.

It’s top rack dishwasher safe so when you run the dishwasher, toss it in.

Your Scrub Daddy will emerge clean, and ready to go to work once again.

Or, put a damp Scrub Daddy in the microwave for 60 seconds, and just like that, a clean Scrub Daddy.

The Scrub Daddy is scratch free.

The Scrub Daddy can safely be used on a variety of surfaces, even glass.

So there’s no point in confining your use to the kitchen.

While I haven’t yet done so, I plan to buy another one to use on the bathroom tile.

One intriguing feature is that the Scrub Daddy is a temperature-controlled scrubber.

The foam is firm in cold water and flexible in hot water.

Choose the texture you need based on the mess you’re cleaning up.

In case you, like me, had never heard the story behind the Scrub Daddy, I encourage you to look it up!

It’s a fun story.  Apparently, it was originally intended as a car detailing tool.
